The Wild Wild West Casino at Bally’s Atlantic City has been the choice of Boardwalk cowboys since it opened on July 2, 1997. It's the first truly themed, freestanding casino, connected by a walkway to Bally’s Atlantic City.

The Old West theme hits you from far away, both on the Boardwalk and Pacific Avenue entrances. The Boardwalk façade features a movie-land style Old West townscape with a wagon perched on a rockscape. Upon entering from the Boardwalk, you can take in an animated mountain scene with waterfalls, mines and a running stream. Picture perfect!

The mountain, which rises about 20 feet in the air, is accompanied by “animatronics” (robotic forms that move with smooth actions that mimic human characteristics) characters, such as a “49er” panning for gold and telling stories of the Old West alongside his companion, a trusty burro. There's also a talking vulture and a rattlesnake. Above, we invite you to gaze at a darkening sky with an approaching storm, which lights up the mountain with flashes of lightning as thunder roars throughout the room. Across from the mountain are various storefronts, all designed in the mold of the Old West.

Inside the gaming hall, the theme continues, complete with the weathered wood of the old west buildings, the gun shop, the general store, the undertaker, the dance hall and the saloon. In the middle of the casino is the town bank (casino cage).

New Western scenes are at every turn, with even the restrooms decorated like abandoned mine shafts. Scattered throughout the casino are 17 robots that perform in 30-minute intervals with four different action scripts.

The 40-foot casino ceilings provide an open and spacious environment that allows you to have comfortable gaming experience. The ceiling is supported by columns that have been designed as lonesome pines or mighty oaks, all created to give you the feeling of being outside at night.

The casino floor offers over 73,935 square feet of action-packed gaming, consisting of themed slot areas and table games positioned beneath a giant train trestle that winds its way around the casino. The Wild Wild West is also home to the award-winning Virginia City Buffet, the Lone Star Snack Bar, a variety of candy and gift shops, and the Mountain Bar.
